Instagram Download Not Working? A Practical Troubleshooting Checklist

Start with the link, not the downloader

Most failed downloads begin with a link that is incomplete, private, expired, or copied from the wrong screen. Open the link in a private browser window. If the post cannot be viewed without signing in, a public downloader cannot access it either. Remove tracking text before or after the URL and copy the link again from the platform share menu.

Match the link to the media type

Rule out browser problems
